Das klingt so, als sei die Intention gewesen, die eigentlich besonders geschützte Kommunikation zwischen Beschuldigtem und Anwalt abzuhören.Die USA haben für Abhören das juristische Konzept der "reasonable expectation of privacy". Wenn man an Orten redet, wo man keine Privatsphäre erwarten darf (also außerhalb der eigenen Wohnung), dann darf da auch wild abgehört werden. Das betrifft auch Fälle wie sagen wir einen öffentlichen Platz, auf dem man allein ist, weil nirgendwo sonst eine Menschenseele zu sehen ist. Wer da Selbstgespräche führt, hat keine reasonable expectation of privacy.
