Es geht darum, dass Unis gegen Sexual Assault-Vorwürfe auf ihrem Campus vorgehen müssen. Unter Obama wurde nämlich aufgeweicht, wie stark die Beweislast sein muss, bevor jemand als Täter gilt. Früher war das "clear and convincing evidence", unter Obama wurde es "preponderance of evidence". Die Unterschiede werden auf Wikipedia erklärt. Für eine Verurteilung vor Gericht (Strafrecht) braucht man "Beyond reasonable doubt", das ist die härteste Stufe. Sexual Assault ist Strafrecht. Man würde also denken, für Sexual Assault gilt Beyond reasonable doubt, egal ob das jetzt ein Gericht oder eine Uni übernimmt. Ist aber nicht so.
