• [l] Julian Assange hat per Data Protection Act-Anfrage GCHQ-Emails über seine Person befreit. In denen steht drin, dass die Vergewaltigungsvorwürfe gegen ihn zeitlich auffallend nahe an Cablegate lagen, und der Absender in GCHQ war sich deshalb sicher, dass die Vorwürfe ein Vorwand sind, um Julian an die USA ausgeliefert zu kriegen.

  Hier ist, wie GCHQ reagiert:

  A GCHQ spokesman told the Independent: "We acknowledge that some of these comments were inappropriate but emphasise that no decisions were taken by GCHQ on the basis of these comments, nor was any reliance placed on them. We have reminded staff of the importance of professional behaviour at all times.
