• [l] Nach Jahren des Apple-Bashings kommt heute auch mal eine gute Nachricht von denen. Man muss ganz ans Ende scrollen, dort findet man das hier:

  If there are any buffer overflows in your program, you should assume they are exploitable and fix them. It is much harder to prove that a buffer overflow is not exploitable than just to fix the bug.

  WHOA! Das ist eine Einsicht, die bei den meisten Firmen noch nicht angekommen ist. Die fangen dann immer noch zu verhandeln an, ob sie diesen Bug hier wirklich fixen müssen.
